The Event

2009 Results are now posted on the 'Links' tab.

The Pura Vida Run is a 5K (3.1 mile) run or walk around the streets of rural Winchester, Kansas.

The race will begin and end at the local high school, Jefferson County North, where Nathan attended school and was active in Band, Forensics, FBLA, Cross Country, Basketball, and Track.

7:30 am- Race Day Registration Begins

8:30 am- Race Day Registration Closes

  (Note: Day of Race Registration will be $20- please register early

  if possible to get a T-shirt!!)

9:00 am- Pura Vida Run/Walk begins

10:00 am- Course closes and security is removed from streets.

Awards will be presented as soon after the conclusion of the race as possible.

Special Awards:

  1st Place Male and Female overall

  1st Place Age-Graded Masters, Male and Female

Age Group awards- medals to top three places, male and female.

  12 and under 40-49

  13 - 19 50-59

  20 - 29 60-69

  30 - 39 70 and over

There will be a water stop at about the 1.5 mile mark, and again at 2.5 miles.
